The Home

Hidden in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees you’ll find The Home of The Pioneers of our Time. When you arrive, you will meet a long mountain road that leads you up to the finca while while you passes unbeatable scenes of remote wilderness . It’s just as close to perfect as it can get. Here you can enjoy a beautiful luxury farm estate you can call “Home”.

The Home offers a unique environment for re-vitalization; aligning body, mind, and soul, deeply connecting with nature, and nurturing relationships. We welcome small groups of 15-35 people to events in nature for up to 80 people. The Home is situated 25 min from the Figueres Vilafant international train station. From here, the high-speed trains bring you to Barcelona in 50 minutes, in 20 min to Girona or in 5 hours to Paris. Click here for more details.

The finca was taken over during 2018 by Stef van Dongen who wanted to fulfill his dream when it comes to a holistic lifestyle for both mankind, flora and faunas. Van Dongen has a deep passion for nature and the Muga valley which begun with a mountain hike of days. He started to optimizing the land as well as the houses on the estate. The main house as well as the smaller houses are typical Catalan and have a rich history. With respect for the original architecture and design it is develop to what now is a beautiful place for the mind, body and soul.

When guests arrive, they will be given a guided walk around the garden to get inspired by the unique atmosphere and to see what’s growing and living around the houses. But also to be introduced to the animals that lives on the grounds. Next to the many birds, insects, wild deers, boars, foxes, chickens and many other animals, also semi-wild horses and dogs roam the grounds. The animals are important to add soul and presence to the atmosphere.
